My daily skincare regimen involves cleansing, toning and moisturising. Healthy skin needs mild cleansing, for which I use gentle soaps. I use products that are mild and do not strip my skin of essential proteins. I am not much of a make-up user and stick to basics like a moisturiser, lip balm and a neutral foundation.

I don't go for regular facials, but do indulge in clean-up sessions once in a while. Also, I am very particular about taking off the make-up before I go to bed. As a ritual, I like to luxuriate in a relaxing body massage with lukewarm coconut or baby oil every week. I think working towards maintaining a healthy body should be a priority for everyone. It is also equally important to maintain a high emotional quotient and a positive attitude towards life.

I take care of myself with homemade remedies and a balanced diet. Working towards maintaining a healthy body should be a priority for everyone. I try and work out as often as possible. Since, I travel regularly, it becomes difficult for me to have a daily workout routine, but whenever I hit the gym I do cardio training and some light weights.

Thanks to my years dedicated to badminton, I have an athletic body. Also, since relaxation matters, no matter how busy my shooting schedules are, I always keep some quality time aside for family and friends.

A healthy lifestyle, nutritious diet and the correct skincare and fitness regimen all go hand in hand to make possible a beautiful you today and tomorrow. I am a firm believer in skincare the natural way. I am careful about using skincare products that are the right mix of nature and science.

One should never try to go overboard on any products, as I think the more you try to be experimental with your skin, the worse it gets. Just stick to the basics of skincare and witness the splendid results. There are a host of natural effective products available that are a better bet than harsh chemically enhanced ones.

Remembering Johnny Walker the Comedy King

Come the month of July and unconsciously I get reminded of Badruddin Qazi, aka Johnny Walker, who died in this month about five years back. The late comedian had an appeal that transcended time. He treated his own contemporaries, as also those belonging to the present generation, with equal humour. Art, he made relevant for all times to come.

My liking the legendary actor began with watching ‘Pyasa’, in which Walker plays the massage-man or the champi-wala. My own knowledge of the comedy king’s reel life comes from watching his films, in which he was cast as the hero’s friend and confidante who, with his redoubtable style, provided the much-needed comic relief.

But it wasn’t the joker which Johnny Walker played always. He also treated serious roles with such ingenuity and indulgence that the characters became etched in one’s mind. Remember Isa Bhai of Anand who dominated even Rajesh Khanna with his screen presence? He had the capability to make the audience laugh or weep with his earthy performances.

In Mere Mehboob, Walker played a pedestrian-poet who always has a paid and captive audience, and who are always there to wah-wah him on rendition of his off-the-cuff, impromptu tuk-bandi - heterogeneous rhyming. His pen name was ‘Ghayal’, and evoked an added mirth and jollity, coupled with his diagonally flashing smile worked up with a tweet that was peculiar to him.

Johnny bhai played the anti-climaxes with meticulous ease. Be it his flooring of the rival or that of himself, the desired effect was nothing but pure comedy. There was hardly any room for slapstick. That he always played the literal second fiddle to the hero in no way brought his screen presence down, nor affected his own very perfect presentation.

His bony face was a beautiful ingredient in the toolbox of his art of playing comical roles. The forked countenance, round bulging eyes, big ears, cave-like openings of the nose, M-shaped receding hairline, eyebrows and moustache running parallel on both sides down from the raised elevation in between as if they were the hands of a clock when the time is 20 minutes to four, were a perfect comedian’s artful veneer. Added to this was his typical style and dialogue delivery with employed mannerisms.

Johnny Walker was a master of playing situations, when he would be seen as a spin-doctor himself spreading stories boastfully and later on exposed. Or someone who is really frightened but pretends as if he could brave it all valiantly.

His language and pronunciation was superb. If it were the demand of the scene to play an English-speaking character, Johnny Bhai’s mimicry was superb and he would act exactly as if he was born and brought up in Oxford. Such incongruities of appearance and ideal realities of situations made his audiences go wild. He left his mark on every role he played.

SEVENTY MM-A NIGHTMARE

I think lot of you must be knowing about the services of Seventy MM which claims to be Largest Movien Rental Services in India. I wish to share my experience about it with you'll.

I became a member of Seventy MM on 17-06-2008 after getting a call from one of the sales executive of Seventy MM who informed me that they have all the movies since 1930 in DVD or VCD besides lot of English Movies and Charges would be Rs.300/- pm and some amount as Refundable Security. You also had option to queue your proformance of movies online which will come to you on request. I was also told that if you order a movie upto 0900 hrs in the morning then you will get the movie same day. I got conveinced with the idea and have enrolled for their services.

I think it was a nightmare that I had enrolled for as their systems have lot of bugs, their services are so poor that they will not give you movies till 2000 hrs in the evening and their operations come to a stand still mode if one of their delivery boy goes on leave. One can well imagine that I could not get more than 12 movies through out the month even though I wished for. The reasons could be as follows:

Althought they don't leave more than one movie with anybody but my request could not be forwarded because as per their system they had two movies in my name.
Their delivery boy was not well so they could not deliver the movie.
On the other occassion, they could arrange to deliver in my area.

and lots more.

During this tenure I had spoken to a number of People such as Mr Amit, Ms Nayab, Mr Tarun, Mr Anuj, Mr Alok (Customer Care Head), Ms Neha [executive who sold me this service], Wanted to speak to Mr P.L. Sharma [Head for Delhi Region] but he didn't come on line. I don't know whether he had been informed about my willingness to talk to him. I also wanted to speak to Mr Raghav Kher [MD] but I was informed that he stays at U.S. and nobody has his email id or phone no. where he can be contacted. I was also told that if you send a mail to support, it will be read by Seniors but unfortunately even after me writing two emails i.e. on 05-07-2008 & 09-07-2008 there was no response. I my opinion there is no person responsible for services or who looks into the operations.

I just wanted to share my experience with you so that you should be informed that what kind of services we are enrolling for before we go ahead with it.

Nowadays many celebrities are writing blogs...Amir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Shekar Kapur
(many doubt if they really write or not... that is a different issue)

Obviously the fans will adore their hero’s blogs,

but what can a normal surfer, just an observer (like many of us) gain from such blogs?

It is good to read such celebrity blog’s to get an idea about their views, lifestyle, experience etc.
At times you can’t help thinking few of their whole blogging thing is just a marketing strategy, even if it is so, we can observe that too.

I liked Mr. Amitabh’s blog, and found interesting, informative and kind of good.

But apart from these blogs, I would also like to read blogs by Ratan Tata, Sudha Moorthy & Narayan Moorthy (INFOSYS , Amarthiya Sen, M.R.Husain ... but so far i don’t think any other celebrities in fields other than film industry in India is blogging ...

Many don’t even have a personal web site... (There are few exceptions like ... Mr. Abdul Kalam, Ms. Arundhathi Roy), I feel our young surfers will benefit a lot, if such talented celebrities blog a bit more.

Then we will enjoy infotainment using the web.

Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan' who is the brand ambassador of Coca Cola as well as Indian Premier League (IPL) Mumbai Indians cricket team' says he endorses both because there is the common thread of sports between them.

'I think both Coca Cola and IPL support sports' which shows their commitment to a healthy lifestyle. I also feel sports is the common factor between Coca Cola and me'' Hrithik' who was in the capital to launch Coca Cola's Fridge Pack' told reporters Friday.

The Fridge Pack has been specially for being stored in refrigerator. Specificaly aimed at Indian consumers' it was initially launched in select cities including Delhi' Mumbai and Nasik and was launched at the national level Friday.

When asked about Health Minister Ambumani Ramadoss' threat to ban junk food' Hrithik said: 'Our young generation is health conscious and I don't agree with this statement. You have to be practical and realistic. You don't have to be addicted to anything.

Rajpal Yadav who is known for making the audiences laugh their guts out, faces a huge challenge this time. He will be seen wrestling the seven foot tall international wrestler Khali (Daljeet Singh Rana) in his upcoming film Kushti , being directed by Ranjeet Kumar.

“ Kushti is a film based on wrestling. It is a very good love story. It takes the audiences in a very good environment”, said the actor about the film.

Bollywood has always been making its presence felt at an international level. Now it’s going to the very fount of global entertainment by producing Hollywood films.

Anil Ambani’s Reliance Big Entertainment (RBE) has signed deals to provide development funds to eight leading creative forces in Hollywood. The deals include those with production houses like Nicolas Cage’s Saturn Productions, Jim Carrey’s JC 23 Entertainment, George Clooney’s Smokehouse Productions, Chris Columbus’s 1492 Pictures, Tom Hanks’s Playtone Productions, Brad Pitt’s Plan B Entertainment and Jay Roach’s Everyman Pictures.

This means that the company will provide for the creation of a development corpus for each of the Hollywood A-listers. The movies that will be made could initially amount to $1 billion.

This could easily be the amalgamation of the Indian Film industry with Hollywood. The Indian Film industry has always been closely associated with Hollywood. A number of actors from Bollywood have acted in Hollywood and vice-versa.

The collaboration could also see Amitabh Bachchan who is very close to Anil Ambani acting in a Hollywood film. Bachchan has The Last Lear to his credit and this step can finally see the Sean Connery of Bollywood give the original Sean Connery a run for his money.

We have to wait and watch how things progress from here. But for Reliance Entertainment it is surely going to be a ‘BIG’ step forward.

What would you expect from the director of films like One Man Show, Kalyanaraman, Pulivaal Kalyanam, Thommanum Makkalum and Mayavi? No doubt a full-length, colourful entertainer with an interesting story and ample dosages of humour, songs and well-choreographed dance sequences. Well, that's exactly what Shafi gives you in his sixth and latest offering, which too is on the way to becoming another box office success. Chocolate, true to its name, is a yummy kind of film, one that you'd love to savour to the fullest extent. It's colourful, entertaining and youthful to the core.

The film tells the story of things that happen when a male student gets admitted to a Women's college where more than three thousand girls study, some of whom are dead against a male entering their preserve. Prominent among these are Anne, Nandana and Susan, who to a very great extent, rule the campus. But the principal, who was always in favour of making it into a co-ed college, decides to give admission to Shyam Balagopal, the son of one of the lecturers there, and a spoilt brat if there ever was one. Not willing to take this lying down, Anne, Nandana and Susan, decide to make the going hard for Shyam.

But Shyam is not what they had anticipated him to be. He had created problems wherever he had studied earlier and hence had never lasted long in any institution. He wasn't bothered whether he would last long in this one either, although there were many like Pappan (who ran the cyber café) and his friend Riyaz among others who had much fancied being out and about in this all-women's college. With Shyam's admission, these guys begin to feel that they too would get a chance to make their dreams come true.

There is another person who approaches Shyam with a different kind of request. He is Renjith, a young fashion designer, who wants to make Nandana his model (his real motive is something else!). He wants Shyam to help him in getting Nandana to agree to model and walk the ramp for him. All these combine to create the build up towards a very exciting and emotion-packed climax.

Prithviraj as Shyam is excellent. The way he plays the character, the timing that he displays in the comedy scenes, the energy that he breathes into the role make him endearing. Roma has done an excellent job as Anne, while Samvritha Sunil is good as Nandana. Jayasurya as Renjith is perfect, while Remya Nambeeshan is OK as Susan. Shaari as the principal, Laloo Aalex as Anne's father, Rajan P. Dev as Nandana's father, Salim Kumar as Pappan, Anoop Chandran as Riyaz, Bindu Panicker as Maria (who runs the college canteen) etc have all done full justice to their respective roles.

The songs have been choreographed well, in true Shafi style and sync perfectly with the theme and the mood. "Kalkanda Malare..." and "Ishtamalle..." are good ones. Technical aspects are excellent. Debutantes Sachi and Sethu, who penned the story and the script, deserve to be appreciated for having come up with so exciting an entertaining a subject. Bravo Shafi, Sachi, Sethu, Prithviraj, Roma and everyone else! To sum up, Chocolate is a clean entertainer, a perfect film for a festive season! Go and watch it with your family!

But we won't be discussing filmy moms…Rather we can hear about the moms who are behind many a Bollywood sensation.

Ranbir Kapoor on Neetu Singh Kapoor: Mother's Day to me is an opportunity to keep on telling my mom how special she is to me. My mother gave me the freedom to take decisions when I was in Class V. She is so special!

Not only for me and my sister but for the entire family. She never interfered in my space. All she would say is that –Do whatever you want to. But just remember your origin, the royal blood in your veins. And that's more than enough for me to think and rethink before taking a decision.

Of course I will get her the cutest gift on Mother's Day. She is too figure conscious. So can't give her chocolates. I think she will be happy if I gift her a new gym.

Rekha on her mother Pushpavalli Ganeshan: My mother was, in fact is, my guardian angel. It's all because of her that I am in this industry. I still remember how every morning at 6 she dragged all of us to the temple in our house.

I think every day in the year is Mother's Day. Just as you can't confine the sky in a bottle, you can't confine Mother's Day within 24hours."

Hrithik Roshan on Pinky Roshan: My mother is the Bourn vita of our family-her sheer presence makes all the difference to our lives. Mother's Day this year is even more special with two mothers in our family-my mother and the mother of my two kids, Suzzane.

Generally it's Suzzane who take scare of all the arrangements for a celebration. But since this day is meant for my mom and her, so I guess the males have to tie up their aprons to please the ladies of the family.

Visiting that Ragavendra temple in Bangaloreis almost more than a routine for her. She has not seen him ever before in the temple.

He was sitting on the floor with his closed eyes, folded legs and locked fingers in 'Gnana Mudra'. He looked strange and different with a turban on his head and the very long flowing beard. Some thing was there in his face that attracted her. She could not understand what that was.

She finished her 'darshan' and came out; she saw the man was walking in the corridor. Again something was happening in her, she could not understand what was that. She was telling herself, "a poor old man. I have to help him". She ran to him, gave rupees ten in his hand and forced him to accept. He smiled, expressed a reverence like a 'prasadam' by keeping it in the forehead and thanked her by keeping the hand in prayer position ('Namasthey').

As she came out, she saw the man was getting into his Mercedes Benz, she was perplexed, shivered and ran to him and said, "Sir (Ayya!), Please forgive me, I did not do this to insult you. By seeing your dress and appearance, I thought you are struggling in life and offered you the money. It is a blunder. I am sorry. Please forgive me. Please give me back that money. I am sorry".

The man with the fake beard and turban laughed and replied her politely, "Ammaa.. There is no mistake of yours. It is the other way. The creator is again and again reminding me through some body, "You are nothing. You are not special. Everybody is equal in front of me". He keeps on sending this message again and again and today you happened to be a medium. That's it. Thanks a ton". His hand again went to prayer position, expressed gratitude to the lady and he went into his car.

When the lady realized the man was none other than Super star Rajini Kanth - Asia's number one paid actor, he has left the place.

She did not know what to do. With tears in her eyes, she was starring at the direction that the car went.

Munnabhai ties the knot

Sanjay Dutt and Manyata officially got married as per the Hindu rites in Mumbai on Monday (Feb 11). Both were clad in golden designer outfits with smiles to add on. 'Munna' seemed overjoyed and deliriously happy with the wedding proceedings. While wife Manyata curbed her emotions in front of the media and posed as a new bride. An extremely happy Sanjay Dutt addressed the media and said:"I am very happy."

Ironically, the Dutt sisters -- Priya Dutt and Namrata Dutt -- were not present at the wedding. Media reports claim that the sisters were not even aware of the days proceedings.

Priya Dutt on Sanjay Dutt's marriage

When spoke to Sanjay Dutt's sister -- Priya Dutt -- and quizzed about her brother's marriage, she said:"There are always so many rumours, so I thought that this was also a rumour. I didn't know about it. I'm very happy with this wedding, after all it's his life, and our happiness lies in his happiness."

When probed further as to whether she would be join them in the celebration, she averred:"I don't know where the wedding was held, so I will wish him, when he comes home."

Further commenting on the Sanjay-Manyata's marriage, Priya Dutt stated:"I don't think he has given the wedding too much of importance as he has been seeing Manyata for a very long time, may be it's a formality. Sanjay is a 50-year old man and I don't think it's a matter of acceptance or not. Rather it is more a matter of wishing the very best for each other. I wish him all the happiness, which he very much deserves especially after what he has gone through."

The Dutt-Manyata saga

After rumours mills were abuzz about the status of relationship between -- Sanjay Dutt and Manyata -- it is learnt that the duo have solemenised the wedding according to Hindu rites in Mumbai on Monday (February 11) at the residence of a freind of Manyata's.

According to the media reports, Sanjay and Manyata got married at the Taj Exotica in Goa on February 7 under the Special Marriages Act. Reportedly, only a few close friends were witness to the occassion with Sanju's friend -- Bunty Walia -- being one among the few.

Sanjay Dutt reportedly completed divorce proceedings againt Rhea Pillai last month.. This was Sanju's third marriage. Reports claim that Manyata was presented a wedding ring by Sanju worth Rs 40 lakhs.

When quizzed, old friend of Sanjay, Aditya Pancholi said that he deserves to be happy and Manyata is the right choice for him.

On Sunday, February 10, Manyata was seen attending a function at her old school where she looked like a newly wed. She was dressed with vermillion smeared on her head. Though she shied away from talking about her love life, the glow on her face said it all.

When quizzed during the function, sounding a bit defensive, Manyata said:"I am not hiding anything but I am not commenting anything yet."

The rumours started after a leading English daily printed greetings to Bal Thackeray with the Dutt surname attached with her name. Manyata has been a pillar of strength for Sanjay all through his troubled times and their marriage doesn't come as any surprise.

Sanjay Dutt's lady love Manyata has constantly been seen with 'Munnabhai' at all public events. As Sanju ties the knot with Manyata, here is a background about the lady in the limelight. Manyata alias Dilhaaz Shaikh married Bollywood superstar Sanjay Dutt on Monday (Feb 11). The once innocuous Bollywood item girl, Manyata belongs to a conservative upper class family based in Dubai. Her family owns a textile business of their own. Manyata's luck with love has never favoured her in the past.

With three divorces highlighting her past, she would be hoping that this marriage with Sanju flourishes till the end. The lady has kissed the silver screen once in the past when she appeared in an item song in Prakash Jha's 'Gangaajal'. Her first marriage with Meraz Rahman -- supposed script writer -- did not prove to be successful. There are reports that Meraz had been allegedly arrested for sending vulgar SMS to various Bollywood actresses -- Kareena Kapoor, Poonam Dhillon and Smriti Irani.

After her disasterous first marriage, Manyata went on to tie the knot with a fabric merchant -- Mohammad Ali -- which did not fair well either. Very soon Manyata was caught under family pressures and was forced to get married for the third time to one Mr Naved. Sanjay Dutt, who has been married to Richa Sharma and model Rhea Pillai previously, is said to be very fond of Manyata, whom he met through a common friend -- Nitin Manmohan. The lady love has stood through the actor's thick and thin especially during the trial for the 1993 Mumbai serial blast case. Well wishers of the couple will hope that their jinx with marriage do not transcend in their marriage. Manyata is said to be the best girl Sanju has won and 'Munnabhai' will hope to hold the marital bliss forever.

If Karan Johar made Taare

Obvious starcast:

Shah Rukh Khan as the arts teacher (duh duh duh!!).
Aryan Khan as the dyslexic child (even if he could not act for nuts).
Rani Mukerjee as the kid’s mom (assuming Kajol is unavailable).
Abhishek Bachchan as the kid’s dad.
Amitabh Bachchan as the school principal (who cares if the role is ultra minute, he can afford it).
It would be shot in New York to appeal to the NRI audience.
The story line would obviously be different. SRK would fall for the dyslexic kid’s mom. The last scene would have the mom running to the teacher rather than the kid. And again, like in so many other movies, SRK would get someone else’s girl.
It would have one dance number.
The film would be titled ‘Kuch Taare Zameen Par.’

If Sanjay Leela Bhansali made Taare

Obvious starcast:

Salman as the teacher.
Rani as the mother.
Of course the whole film would be shot on elaborate sets. The school would be nothing short of Harvard university.
An orchestra would play every time anyone cried.
Slow motion, different camera angles for every scene.
The school uniforms would match the classroom walls even though that does not make a f***ing difference.
The film would cost 60 crores.

If Farah Khan made Taare

Obvious starcast:

SRK as the teacher (yawn).
In the original Taare, Aamir makes an entry at the interval point. In Farah’s version, SRK would be on screen on for 2.30 hrs out of the 2.45 hrs and would be introduced in the first scene itself.
The story would be changed to make sure the above happened. The focus of the film would be a teacher who helps a kid fight dyslexia.
To make it a complete entertainer, there would be a romantic angle, comedy, and action thrown in. Oh idea!! Nikumbh’s character likes another teacher and the kiddo helps him.. throw in some comedy moments there and you have romance and comedy settled. For action.. hmm.. lemme see.. oh yah, the kid gets kidnapped and the teacher fights the baddies to save him. Wow!! I’m quite an imaginative writer. I can see how Farah can write a film from scratch in two weeks straight.
The film posters would have a big SRK with the tiny image of the kid in the background.

If Rakesh Roshan made Taare

Obvious starcast:

Hrithik Roshan as the teacher.
Since Rakesh Roshan cannot think beyond science fiction these days, this film would have that too. Instead of dyslexia, the kid would have alienositis or something, a condition induced due to him witnessing an alien abduction.
Instead of Nikumbh being an arts teacher, he would be a physics teacher, and instead of asking kids to be creative, he would ask them to challenge the science we know.
In the scene where Nikumbh asks the kids to open their minds and make whatever they want outdoors, the kid Ishaan, instead of making a boat, would end up making a working spaceship prototype.
Nikumbh would cure the kids problem by making a full fledged version of the kid’s prototype, traveling to the alien planet, and asking them to give the kid his powers back.
The film would have mus ic by Rajesh Roshan ripped off from some world music.
The film’s name would again start with a K.. probably ‘Kuch Aliens Taaron se Zameen Par’.
The director would make sure Hrithik gets to show all his abilities. This would mean a scene with Roshan jr flexing his muscles, and a dance competition in the end, instead of an arts competition.

If Priyadarshan made Taare:

Obvious starcast:

Akshay Kumar as the teacher.
Paresh Rawal as the kid’s dad.
It would be a brainless comedy. The kid’s dyslexia would be made fun of. Half the times the parents will be running after the kid from one room to the other and that, in the director’s opinion, would be funny.
The film will be full of sex jokes. So for example, when Akshay would come to the parents telling them that their son has dyslexia, the ignorant father would say something inappropriate like ‘iss umar mein? par kaise, woh to hamesha boys school mein padha hai!’. And yes, the director would think it is funny.
In the climax of the film all the characters in the film would run around in the amphitheater for no reason, spilling colors on each other. That’s where the film will end, without any logical conclusion.
And of course, Paresh Rawal would emote like an epileptic himself making us question the boy’s mental abilities anyway.

Through my experiences and personal lessons along the way, I’ve learned that leadership of my life is about releasing the tight grasp I’ve kept on my current reality. We all need to dispense with this addiction so many of us have to knowing how our lives are meant to turn out in advance. The fact of the matter is that we grow into our most powerful selves (for at least start the process) the moment we let go of all the control we so fearfully cling to, and open ourselves up to all possibilities that this glorious universe of ours present. This is a great act of humility because it requires us to let go of the belief that we know what’s best for us. It requires us to realize that we think is needed in our lives to make us happy might not be what we need at all. And this release of control is a great act of humility because it really does insist that we surrender ourselves to the much more powerful intelligence of the world we live in.

I am not here to give you a review of this movie. But trying to tell you the deeper understanding the movie had. Don’t worry I wont tell you the story. Only the things I’m sure you would know about the movie I knew before watching the movie.

A small brush-up before starting.....

Shahrukh plays the role of a junior artist in the movie. He is named Om Prakash Makhija. He dreams of becoming a superstar one day. Simultaneously he is in love with a girl called Shanti, a beautiful and sweet person played by Deepika Padukone. But due to some reasons Shanti as well as Om die together. So in a sense neither of the dreams of Om could become true. One dialogue or a piece of advice or you can say a piece of wisdom was always told to Om from his mother and even Om phrased it like this

……….”AGAR KISI CHEEZ KO DIL SE CHAHO, TOH PURI KAYANAAT USSE TUMSE MILANE MEIN LAG JAATI HAI”……..

I could have got the exact dialogue wrong but I am sure this is the exact meaning of it.
Well after the interval Om is reborn. He becomes a superstar. And after a while he meets a girl who looks exactly like Shanti ( Deepika ). She is named Sandy or Sandhya in the second part. So in a sense whatever Om and shanti wished for in the first part gets filled in the second part.

Well this movie is a real disaster in some ways as some non sense things as happen during the movie like Om getting a punar janam. Or Sandhya being the look alike of shanti.

And then follows a series of an event which might be unbelievable to the audience but then again that’s how an amazing pot boiler is made in Bollywood. I guess I don’t need to tell you these things. You will find them yourself during the movie. Maybe that’s why many people have disliked the movie.

Maybe they missed out the real and important part of the movie. They seemed to forget it. But it is a reality.

What Om Shanti Om means.......

Great lessons from Great People's lives

Ask any of the greatest human beings that have walked on this earth and some who are still. Like Amitabh, Shahrukh Khan, Dhirubhai Ambani or the Tatas or the Birlas. Sachin Tendulkar. Think of any guy who you think is really successful.

He could be the president of your college or the president of your country. He could be living in the White house or the house next door. One thing that is common among each of them is that every one of them, and I mean every one, had some dreams that they really cherished before they became reality.

They all had one main dream. A dream that made their heart go beat faster. Whenever they thought about their dream a quick smile used to come over to their face. A dream which is your own and not someone else’s dream. I mean to say the dreams which are set by your parents. They never come true until you yourself believe in them.

What I mean to say is, it is very good to have aims and dreams in your life. But see only those dreams which make your heart go DHAK DHAK. A dream which not only your mind wants but also your heart longs.
And on the other side, if you are confused with some thing, for example your career, and you have decided to do something what your parents want or just because there is a lot of scope in it. I request you to please change that decision and find out something you really love. Even if it doesn’t have any scope, if you believe in it, you can always change the world.

Suppose you have exam in few days. Many of you would be in fear what would happen if you fail. You pray to god that please don’t let me fail. And many a times tell me what happened with most of the guys. They just pass. Everyone of them. That’s the reason why their failures in life and exams. They pray not to fail. And so their wishes are granted. They don’t fail. But very narrowly. If you go out there in the exam hall thinking and praying to god to make you pass with good marks, I am damn sure he will pass you with very good marks. He will either give you an easy paper. Or a paper whose answers you know.

This is the power of nature. So from now on understand the power of positive thinking and pray for the best. You will be given opportunities. Then their will no failures. Only successful people. But the ones who would make the most from these opportunities will emerge as a winner. Will stand front.

Just try to recall the last time you wanted something badly. Your heart was striving for it. And then suddenly you were shown a way to achieve that thing. I bet there could have been many times that would happen. And you thought god helped you or something else. I am not sure about god. But one thing I am sure is that the nature helped u in achieving that thing. U can call it KAYANAAT. The movie also meant the same thing.

I bet a million you would have heard a lot about positive thinking lately. There are dozen of self-help books out there in the market. And you have read them too. But they were too complex to understand. Right? Or maybe the formula did not work out. Even I have tried it. But the point is think only on those things that are much important to you, that you love the most and keep a positive outlook on it. In other words, chase only things that are more important to you than anything. That you love the most. Because only then will you be able to concentrate on them. And believe me once you discover the thing or things you truly love doing, and fight for them, I am 100 percent sure you will achieve that thing. That is the way the world works. And many people fail because they keep running behind things, behind which the whole world is running for. But only that person or groups of people get close to fulfilling their dream who try real hard. Who live for the dream. Who pray for that dream. You don’t have to work too hard for it. Because the nature will for sure give you choices, opportunities. And then you have to decide among the choices. The winner will be that person who would make the most of that opportunity. But believe me the KAYANAAT will help you in achieving that goal or aim.

Little examples from my own life......

Let me give you examples from my life, some small examples that made me really think on this movie.

Some years back I was trying for IIT. But I could not make through even after trying for 3 years. This was because I never really tried for it. When I did, that time I wanted to be a mathematician from IIT. But my family opposed it. So the fire within me for IIT got diminished. But when I was really preparing I was given many choices. I got them frrm nowhere. They just cropped up. But in the end my fire was completely over.

Next I wanted to be a robotics engineer because it has a great scope and amazing future. Initially for a month or two I really tried hard to collect information, I got some amazing choices, some great opportunities. Because I really wanted it. But soon my fire for it was over. I did not like it. But the power of nature did help me here too.

Then I was all over thinking what to do, I was confused with my future. I wanted to do something that I really loved. I began searching within myself. Soon I got the answer. I can’t tell you what. But now I have got many opportunities and choices for that dream. I know I will be behind that dream for ever because that is a thing I have loved since my childhood. And through the help of KAYANAAT I am very much sure that my dream would become a reality.

I am a common man. Why would you believe me. But try reading any of the biographies or auto-biographies of great people. Just check if I am wrong. They stuck to their one dream life long. Something they really cherished. Something they had great thoughts about. They did get big obstacles. But at the same time it is the nature that helps them out of it. Try it out for yourself.
If you think you love a person, give it a shot to make that person your partner only when you are sure you can’t live without that person. Only when your heart feels the ache when that person is not around. Otherwise you would never be able to make that person your partner. Aim for better relationships. Aim for better body. But your dream will come true only when your heart will long it. And not your mind.
Live from your heart. And only then take the help of your mind. But mind has importance too. Its your mind that plays major role while given the choices.

A million worth of advice..just for u my frend

So my final point is. Sit down today. Think of what you love doing. Figure out your strengths. And set on a journey that you think if completed would make you the happiest man on earth. Guys believe me. You can Think and Grow Rich. Whatever you aim for do it from heart. Only then will the kaynaat help you. Rich in any thing you like. Suppose you wish to be fear free. And you long for it. Soon you will be given ways to remove your fear. But nature will send you testing times. You have to stand by your wish. And act upon whatever opportunity you are given.

What I recommend you to do is start from your fears, your weaknesses. Study them. And long and pray that those fears and weaknesses become your strength. This way I am sure you will discover the greatest part of you and as well as understand the way the nature works.

I have always been so fond of reading philosophical books. But getting the right type of books are very important. And believe me I have got the right books at the right time always. I have been very poor in keeping relationships. But I have got some amazing friends from whom I am going to learn a lot. This is the power of nature. It sends you angels to help you. Now I am very happy with the kind of friends I am making and the new things I am leaning. But remember the nature does send me opportunities. Actually I have to try and make the most of those half chances and little chances. This is the way the world works. Understand it and believe me you will be heading to lead a very big life.
